For the first time in its history, the Society convened for its annual meeting in Denver. The meeting was held from November 6, 2014 to November 9, 2014 at the Four Seasons Denver.
The meeting was sponsored by the Colorado Supreme Court, the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and the Historical Society of the Tenth Judicial Circuit.
The Plenary Lecture was given by Philip Girard of the Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.

DIA is located less than 35 minutes from downtown Denver by car, shuttle bus, public transportation or taxi. The Ground Transportation Information Counter is located in the central area on Level 5 of Jeppesen Terminal.
Public bus service is scheduled and provided within the local metro area by the Regional Transportation District (RTD). Please visit their website or booth in the Jeppesen Terminal, for information on specific routes, schedules and fares. Riders must have exact change. RTD buses pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal Level 5, outside doors 504, 506, and 510 (west side).

Taxis are readily available and provide service for a flat-rate (one-way fare, airport access fee already included) to downtown Denver for $55.15.
The American Society for Legal History’s Standing Committee on Annual Meetings invites proposals to host or sponsor (in full or in part) a future Annual Meeting. Interesting venues, affordable hotel rates, tax exemption for out-of-state non-profits and reasonable funding support for meeting events are highly favored in site selection.
